More Mess

Mommy wasn't home this day when daddy and the boys made a chocolate cake.

Just Jacob

No words are necessary to describe what kind of child Jacob is.

Wicked combover

I went to a Toronto Raptors basketball game last year and the guy in front of me had the most wicked combover I have ever seen! Notice the strategic starting point and how it angles up and forward. Quality.

Santa Claus Parade

Santa made his usual tour through Orillia last Sunday. Here are (from left to right) Elizabeth, Noah, Liam and Avery. An interesting anecdote: Noah was born on parade day 4 years ago. Mommy had to wait an extra hour at home waiting for the parade to get past the hospital before daddy could rush her to the maternity ward. She asked how far apart her contractions were, and I lied that she was 4 minutes apart when they were under 2 minutes apart!! A little white lie, but it saved a lot of panic. Needless to say we made it on time!

Noah Turns Four!

Holy cow! Noah's four years old already! People always tell us that time flies with kids and that they grow up too fast. Noah loves to learn, sing and play with his (not so) little brother. He acts just like a little adult sometimes!

Halloween

Here's mommy and her boys making jack o' lanterns for Halloween. The boys were "hopped up" on candy for the next few weeks. Noah was a lion and Jacob was an elephant when they went trick or treating. Daddy got to stay home and dole out the treats.

Fall Fun

Here are Noah and Jacob in the fall just after we raked the leaves in the back yard. Mommy had a blast playing with her 2 boys in the piles of leaves. Alas, the nice fall days have given way to snow and slush and all-around yucky weather.

Jacob's 2nd Birthday

Here's a belated picture of Jacob enjoying his cake on his second b-day on August 23rd. He definitely has mommy's sweet tooth. There's also a picture of Noah and Jacob making a cake with daddy for mommy (no special occasion...they just love baking and making a mess in the kitchen - who doesn't?).

Jacob

This is a before and after picture of our mischievous little Jacob (AKA Hiccup). He gets into everything and thinks he can get away with it because of his cuteness. Oh, but when he doesn't get his way, his temper comes out! Many time outs later, he is slowly getting used to the idea that there are rules that should be followed. Time and patience are needed with our second son.

Noah' First Day at School

Here are some pictures of Noah's first day at school. Mommy was a bit emotional for her little baby who has all grown up. Daddy was very proud. Noah was a bit sad for the first week of school, but he quickly adjusted. He just loves learning so much. Noah now has many friends and looks forward to seeing them every week. He has even been featured on TV (formerly the New VR...now A-Channel News)!
