Trip to Timmins

Last week we visited Jen's cousin Renee and her family in Timmins. It was a long 6 hour drive, but this time the kids were good and watched the dvd's we brought. We camped, played at the water park and went 4-wheeling (ATV-ing). The kids had a blast and we really enjoyed our trip north.

Jacob's 3rd Birthday

Niagara Falls and the Butterfly Conservatory

Sunday, August 6 we visited the Butterfly Conservatory in Niagara Falls. What was normally a 3 hour drive turned into almost 6 because it was a long weekend, plus Noah had "gastro-intestinal discomfort"...twice on the way down. Thank goodness for kaopectate. Once we got there it was awesome, hundreds of butterflies all over the place. One even landed on Noah's shoulder. We stayed overnight at a nice hotel, and the boys loved swimming in the 2 pools they had (one kiddies). The drive back home took less than 3 hours...whewh?*&%6$#@
